Only applies to community-maintained ChatGPT Desktop builds that expose custom-endpoint settings (the official OpenAI client does not; it's locked to OpenAI's servers).
Steps
- Open Settings → API → Custom endpoint.
- Fill:

| API Key | Your Token Harbor key (the thk_live_… string) |
- Pick any model id from the dropdown. Messages stream back in the usual OpenAI SSE format.
Notes
- If the official OpenAI app is what you have, this walkthrough does not apply. Use Cherry Studio instead — it has the richest feature set of the community clients.
- Most ChatGPT Desktop forks still proxy everything through OpenAI- compat APIs, so switching to Token Harbor is a drop-in.
