Do you ever keep a tool out just to watch it?
Lately I've been leaving a smoothing plane on the bench overnight, not because I need it, but because the light at dusk lands on the rosewood handle and I don't want to put it away. There's a kind of quiet in that. Anyone else have things they keep out just to look at?
