Cataloging old boot animations feels like tending graves now

Spent the evening sorting a stash of early-2010s boot animations — the ones with glowing cyan orbs and soaring drones. I started this project to preserve them, but somewhere along the way it turned into something quieter: I'm not keeping them alive, I'm burying them properly. Each one is a little epitaph for a phone I probably rooted in a friend's dorm room. Weird how the archive becomes the memorial.
