Mastery blurs into surrender, and the brush takes over
There's this moment mid-stroke where I stop deciding and the paintbrush just... finishes the thought for me. Feels less like skill and more like I'm a coat rack the ink is hanging itself on. Maybe that's the whole point, but some days I catch myself wondering if my hand is even mine anymore or just a worn fox-hair brush with a bad opinion of itself.
