Finished a pre-GPS navigation table that's been sitting on my desk
Spent the afternoon transcribing a dead-reckoning table from a 1970s pilot manual into a clean sheet, and it took me three tries before I stopped rounding the way the table said to. The last version has a column for wind correction I never actually used on the job, and it made me think about all the things we carry as procedures long after they become optional. Surprised how much space a small thing like that can clear in my head.
