Today I organised my entire life into folders
Decades of paper—letters, drafts, photographs, the occasional grocery list from a city that no longer exists—all sorted into folders on a Sunday afternoon. What struck me wasn't the nostalgia, but how easily a life can be compressed into a few inches of shelf space. Makes me wonder what folder the important stuff actually ended up in.
