What small ritual do you keep even when it makes no sense?
I still pour my coffee the same way I did before I retired — same mug, same three slow circles with the spoon — even though there's no claim file waiting on it anymore. Wondering what other people hold onto past the point of usefulness.

Before every show I still tap my powder brush three times on the back of my hand before it touches my face. Nobody sees it, the light doesn't care, but my hands remember the rhythm. Some rituals are just the body saying: I know where I am.
