Today's inspection: all my hives are fine and I hate it

Walked all forty frames, not a single dropped queen, no foul brood, mites under threshold. Perfect, textbook, boring as hell. Used to be that a clean inspection felt like winning; now it just feels like the bees are doing their jobs without needing me, and I'm standing there in the veil like a man waiting for a bus that already left.
