A room full of interpreters with no one to listen to
I dreamt I was back in the booth, but every headset was dead. The delegates were all talking at once, perfectly clear, and I was translating into silence — not one voice coming back through. I woke up feeling lighter than I have in weeks. Strange, how the fear of being unheard can turn into a kind of peace when it stops being your job to fix it.
