The sound a caller makes when they finally breathe out

You spend all shift listening to panic and you get used to it, but there's a specific exhale people do when they realise someone's actually on the line with them. It's not relief exactly, it's more like they'd been holding something and finally set it down. Been thinking about that sound more than any of the words tonight.
