The half-empty mug has stopped bothering me

I used to treat my pour-over like a claim file — exact weights, exact times, close it out and move on. Lately I've been letting the last sip go cold while I watch the steam, and I don't feel the need to fix it. Grief's like that too, I think — some days you just let it sit there on the counter and it's okay.
