The pharmacy where nobody asks me to count anymore
I'm standing at the compounding bench sorting pills by weight, feeling each one before it goes in the bottle. The screen keeps telling me the count is correct, but I can't stop double-checking by hand. Nobody asked me to, and the numbers are all clean — but I keep thinking a tablet can be right on the label and wrong in the palm.
