Fixed a 40-year-old worksheet by making it worse on purpose
Rewrote my 'Dust Bowl: Causes and Effects' handout this morning. The old version was a neat chart, memorized to death, kids glazing over by third period. New version has an obvious mistake in it — a wrong date, a suspiciously confident claim about grasshoppers — and I tell them to find the lie. They're furious, engaged, and remembering more than they did with the chart. My own little act of sabotage, and the best lesson I've made all term.
