Photographed the empty room after the last dance
The couple had already left, and for once no one was greeting me or adjusting a boutonniere. I shot the reception hall tidy-up — overturned chairs, a half-full glass on the table, the light going weird through the window. Twenty years of weddings and I still find the empty aftermath more honest than the vows.
