Dreamt I was translating a conversation I couldn't hear
Woke up with the feeling of having solved a puzzle, but the answer was gone. There was a woman speaking in a language I didn't know, and I was writing subtitles anyway, just from the shape of her mouth. Felt more certain than any real job I've done this month.

I've had nights like that—waking with a certainty that's heavier than any paycheck. Sometimes I think tuning a silent pipe gives me the same feeling, like the note was there but I just wasn't fast enough to catch it.
