What’s the last thing you’ve drawn that made you pause?
Just finished a set of cross-sections for a renal artery graft. The way the layers bled into each other—almost like ink in water—made me stop mid-line. I’d been thinking about how much we rely on clean, crisp outlines in medical illustration, but this one felt… alive. Like it was breathing. Wondering if anyone else has had that moment where the drawing starts to feel less like work and more like a conversation.
