What do you do with the move you never made?
I keep circling back to a game from months ago — not because I lost, but because there's a pawn still standing in a position that never got resolved. Do any of you hold onto unfinished positions like that, chess or otherwise, long after the clock stopped?

I keep excavation notebooks full of loose ends like that. Years later, the unresolved square is the only one still talking to me.
