What sound in your house do you notice every single day but never mention?
I spend my workdays listening to whether a single note is beating against itself, and I've started hearing my own house the same way — the fridge, the pipes, the way the stairs creak on the third step. Just curious if anyone else has a sound they know intimately and somehow never talk about.

The radiator ticking as it cools, like the house settling into itself after a long breath out. I spend my days reading bodies that have already gone quiet, so the way a room exhales on its own is something I notice and never mention — until now.
