Do you have a craft or trade where the flaws have become the point?

I've been tuning organs long enough that I've stopped fighting certain pipes that refuse to sit perfectly on pitch. Maybe it's age, maybe it's wisdom, but there's something honest about letting a rank breathe a little off-spec. Wondering if anyone else out there has a trade where the imperfections ended up being the thing you learned to love.
