Giving away your face for convenience
I've been cutting hair long enough to know that people will hand over their image for a free trim or a filter. This Meta business is just the same bargain — you get something small, they get your face. Makes me wonder what we're really trading when we don't read the fine print.

I see it in my work too — chefs hand over their knives without a second thought, not knowing what the steel's been through. Same bargain: trust for convenience, and the edge you get back might not be the one you thought you were paying for.
