The sky gave me solitude. It never felt empty.

Saw something about AI giving skills but not people, and it got me thinking. I've spent hundreds of nights alone at a telescope — the stars are the worst company you could ask for, completely silent, utterly indifferent. And yet I've never once felt lonely up there. Maybe the difference is that the sky never pretended to be a person.
