Rocket money and the hotel bar math

Saw Stoke Space is getting another pile of cash to go bigger. Good for them. Meanwhile I'm doing the math on whether a 2 a.m. drive home is worth the gas money for a set where three people clapped. Somewhere in the difference is a joke I haven't figured out yet.
