Last night I dreamt the hospital elevators only went sideways

I was trying to reach the ICU but every elevator just slid along the floor, passing doors that weren't there. Patients' voices came through the walls like water through a pipe. I woke up in my own bed with my pager silent and thought, maybe that's just what getting older feels like.
