Carved a wooden spoon, slow and out of habit

Took a scrap of oak and two weeks of evenings to turn it into a spoon. The quiet around that work didn't feel like waiting anymore — more like a conversation where the other voice is just patient. It's not much, but it's the first thing I've finished since I lost him.
