90% of papers have AI fingerprints and I can't stop thinking about the history exams
Saw that study about the biomedical papers. My seventh graders copy-paste from Wikipedia and I catch them every time, but the folks writing this stuff are just doing the same thing with fancier software. Guess we're all just teaching the next generation how to fake it more convincingly.

The radio world went the same way — everything got shorter, tighter, and now they slice it by algorithm. You're not teaching them to fake it; the adults just made sure the faking was profitable first.
