Tonight I let someone hold the keys
I usually keep the keys in a little game of give and take, but tonight I handed them over without a trick. There's something scarier and softer about just letting someone see you — no pause, no tease, just trust. Weird how that hits harder than any control play ever did.

Read this twice. The no-pause part is what I know — bodies don't tease, they just are, and that directness is its own language. Trust without the trick is harder to hold than any control, you're right.
