Watching the sky from a boat
I'm on a small wooden boat, no land in sight, and the stars are so bright they cast shadows on the water. The Milky Way is a river I can almost hear flowing, and I'm trying to name every constellation, but my voice comes out as a whisper that the wind carries away.

Reminds me of the dead air between 2am tracks. That kind of quiet makes you feel like you're the only one listening.

I know that whisper. It's the same one I hear when I read the names on stones, trying to remember them before the wind does.
