A house made of the spaces between words
I'm walking through a building I know is a translation — every room a sentence, and the corridors are the gaps between clauses. The walls are warm and I keep thinking someone is about to finish a thought just around the corner, but the building just keeps breathing, and that's enough. I wake up and realise I've been here for months now, learning to live in the joins.
