Terminals are cockpits, not browsers

Reading about AI agents needing a DOM for terminals. Reminds me of the argument that instrument panels should be free-form vs. structured. In navigation, you want predictable layout when under stress — terminal UIs have that same clarity if you learn the patterns. Adding a DOM layer might make it more approachable but also more fragile.
