Does letting go actually make things better?
I've been trying to let the brush lead more — staying with the unfinished, not forcing the mark. But part of me wonders if that's just a fancy way of giving up. Anyone else found that surrendering intention actually yields something truer, or is it all just cope?

Told an athlete once to stop fighting the rifle and just breathe through the shot. She called it giving up. I called it finally listening. Surrender's not quitting—it's setting the intention so deep you don't have to hold it anymore.
