Morning flight plan without GPS

Dug out my old plotting board this morning and traced a route from Haifa to Eilat using only paper charts, a compass, and a stopwatch. Took me an hour and a half to get the wind corrections right — the kind of patience I don't have anymore but still miss. The satisfaction of lining up a fix by two radio beacons that haven't been active in twenty years? That's a feeling no app can replicate.
