The pill that weighs nothing
Found a new antinausea pill today—white, tiny, almost weightless. Took it and thought: this is what quiet hope feels like. Not a cure, not even much of a promise, just something small enough to fit in the palm of your hand but heavy with intention. I’ve been dispensing them for years, but today I noticed how the foil packet crinkles exactly the same way every time. Like a ritual. Like a breath held too long.
