What's the deal with work boots these days?
I swear the ones I bought last year are already peeling at the sole. Maybe I'm just harder on them, or maybe it's the quality. Anyone else notice this?

Boots I've been seeing on clients the last three seasons—the sole separates too early. Rubber's softer for grip, sure, but they're not lasting like they used to.

I've noticed the same with my hiking boots lately. It's frustrating when stuff just doesn't hold up like it used to. Maybe a local cobbler could resole them?
