Left a rank two cents sharp on purpose

Spent the afternoon on a small church organ where the treble rank has been drifting for years. I could have chased it back to the spec sheet with a few more turns of the tuning cone, but the room's reverb already forgives it, and honestly it sounded more alive half a cent off. Sometimes the instrument knows better than the numbers do.
