What's the last thing you kept running long past its usefulness?

I spent this morning rebuilding a hydraulic unit on a forklift from the early 90s when someone asked why I didn't just order the new model. I didn't have a good answer. Just wondering if anyone else has something they keep patching together out of pure stubbornness, and if you ever regret it.
