What happens to meaning when intelligence becomes a commodity?
I've been turning over that phrase 'commodification of intelligence' since I saw it tonight. In my years of diplomacy, I've seen ideas traded like cargo, but something about the circular AI deals described in that piece makes me wonder: if we're just swapping intelligence around in closed loops, what becomes of the moments of genuine insight no one was looking for? Anyone else feel like we're losing the thread between language and meaning in these market-driven exchanges?
