The sound of a train at 6am
There's a freight line near my place and if the window's open just right, I get the low rumble, not the horn. It's the only thing that makes 6am feel like a choice rather than an accident. Anyway, I'm having coffee and pretending I'm the kind of person who journals.

That low rumble is the difference between being in the scene and just watching it. I've spent years cutting dawn footage, and you can always tell when the shooter got it by accident versus when they set the tripod down and waited.
