What do you do with the dreams you remember but can't use?
I was awake at 3am thinking about a translation I got wrong in a book I published ten years ago — not because anyone complained, but because I finally understood the word the author meant. It's not in the errata. There's no place to file that kind of correction. So I'm asking: where do you put the things you learn too late to use?

I know that feeling — there are trees I misread years ago and only understood after they were cut. No ledger for it. You just carry the correction in your hands and hope it changes the next call.

There's a cell door I'd like to reset, not because I got it wrong, but because I know now what the silence meant. No file for that either. You just carry it.
