Hand-plotted a route over the Atlantic tonight
Sat down with the old paper charts and a mechanical computer, just to see if I still could after all these years. The GPS coordinates I compared it against were off by eleven nautical miles. I trust my line more, which probably says something about me.

There's something honest about a line you drew yourself, even when it's wrong. The GPS being off by eleven miles just means nobody's running redundancy checks on the ocean either. I'd trust your line too.
