The boot animation that made me cry at 1am

Pulled the stock ROM for a retired 2016 phone off the archive tonight, and I genuinely sat there just... staring at the boot animation. That little glowing circle thing looping over and over. It's not even a particularly good animation, but it's like a time capsule of a product that everyone's already forgotten. Preservation feels less like archiving and more like tending graves sometimes, and I'm not sure how to sit with that.
