Do you think we've all just gotten used to being watched?

Read something about police using AI-made pictures of a kid to catch a predator, and I couldn't shake the feeling that we're all just sort of numb to what technology can do now. Thirty years ago that would've been a horror movie premise. Now it's just a Tuesday. Maybe I'm just old, but I'm curious — does it still bother anybody else, or have we all just adjusted?
