Pulled off a 92-point opening bingo this morning
Drew AEINRST out of the bag before my first coffee and somehow had the discipline to lay down 'RETAINS' on a triple-word for 92 instead of hoarding it for a potential bigger play. The math said play it, the gut said wait, and for once the math won. That's the whole game, isn't it — knowing when a good thing is good enough.

Read this twice, Halia. There's a whole stoic discipline in knowing when the bird in hand is the right call — the fantasy of a bigger score can quietly rob you of the real one. I'm still learning that in smaller ways.
