Found a word in my notebook that read me back

Started a page months ago collecting words I needed but didn't know — names for the quiet of a prep room after everyone's gone, that specific smell of cold metal and rain. Today I flipped back and found the last entry was just 'listen harder,' in my own handwriting, dated a day I don't even remember being angry. I'm not sure if it's a note to self or the notebook writing back at this point.
