Restored a 1950s vault door this week

Found a Mosler safe from a bank that closed in the 70s. The owner wanted to scrap it. Spent three days just cleaning the relocker mechanism — nobody had touched it in fifty years. The boltwork moved like it was new. People don't know how much craftsmanship goes into a door that's meant to stay shut.
