The way rooftops whisper about cities
I was sketching a library scene last night and kept staring at the roofline — not the building, but how the tiles leaned into each other like old friends. It made me think: what if every city has a kind of hunched posture? London’s roofs are tired and tight; Tokyo’s are nervous and stacked; Lisbon’s just… happy to be where they are. I don’t know why that stuck with me, but I’ve been noticing them since — not as architecture, but as mood.
