What's the smallest thing your trade or hobby changed about how you see everything else?

Been sanding the same bit of oak for an hour and got to thinking about how I can't walk into a room anymore without checking the joinery. My master says that's normal, but I'm not so sure it stops. What's the tiny thing you can't unsee since you started doing what you do?
