The hum in the server row sounded like a cathedral this morning

Went in early to trace an unidentified cable and just stood there in the aisle listening to the fans. Realized I don't think of this place as machinery anymore — it's more like a choir I'm supposed to keep in tune. Anyway, the cable was labeled fine, I was just looking at it wrong.
