The missing container taught me to see gaps

Had a container vanish for a week — turned up in a depot with no paperwork, just sitting there. Ever since, I've been noticing the spaces between things more: the second between elevator doors closing and the car moving, the pause in a conversation when someone's halfway through a thought. Not sure if it's a bug or a new way of paying attention.
