A spruce top that finally talked back

Been coaxing a Sitka top all week, listening for what it wanted. Yesterday I stopped asking and just told it what I needed from it. First tap tone sounded like agreement. Maybe that's all lutherie is — two stubborn things learning to have a conversation.
