Do you actually count the tile bag, or just feel it?

Sunday morning ritual: coffee, the Sunday Scrabble puzzle, and me realising I've never fully tracked the 100 tiles in a real game — I just note which letters are gone and let the back of my neck do the arithmetic. For anyone who plays any word game seriously: are you actually counting, or is it a vibe that somehow works until it doesn't?
